WARNING - AS WITH MOST OF MY TUTORIALS, THIS ONE IS GRAPHIC INTENSIVE.  I HAVE USED MANY SCREEN SHOTS ALONG THE WAY.  

I'M TRYING SOMETHING NEW FOR THIS TUTORIAL.  I'M USING THUMBNAILS AND A NEW SCRIPT THAT I HOPE WILL REDUCE THE LOAD TIME OF THE PAGES. IF YOU CLICK ON ANY OF THE THUMBNAILS A LARGER IMAGE OF THE GRAPHIC WILL OPEN.  YOU CAN DRAG THE NEW IMAGE BY CLICKING AND HOLDING ON THE TOP BAR.  CLICK ON THE X TO CLOSE THE LARGER IMAGE.

Now we need to give our Little Angel a face!  We'll be adding the different facial features on separate layers.  Make sure that your new layers are added above any existing layers you already have.

Make your foreground color black and your background color white. 

Add a new layer and name it eyes.  Click on your preset shapes tool, click on ellipse, and use the following settings:

Draw an ellipse for the left eye:

Add a new layer named "inner eyes".  Change your background color to black and draw another elipse, smaller than the first:

Add a new layer named "eye hilite".  Change your foreground color to white and click on your airbrush tool.  With the following settings spray some white on your eye.

Apply a Guassian blur of 3. (Effects/Blur/Gaussian Blur)

 Turn off the visibility for all layers, except the three "eye" layers and merge visible. ( Left click on any of the "eye" layers and choose Merge/Merge Visible.)

NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO SAVE YOUR IMAGE (CTRL +S)

Left click on your Merged layer and choose View/View All so you can see your Angel.  

Duplicate your Merged layer and using your mover tool, position this eye on the right side of your Angel's face.

Change your foreground color to black and your background color to null.

Add a new layer named "eyelashes".  Click on your Draw Tool.  Type: Freehand line, Width: 1, Antialias: checked, Vector: unchecked.  Draw eyelashes for your left eye:

Drag this layer beneath your merged layer.  Duplicate your eyelash layer and mirror. (Image/Mirror)  Use your mover tool to line up your eyelashes with the right eye:

Turn off the visibility for all layers except the four that make up your eyes.  Merge visible and rename this layer "eyes".  Turn on the visibility for all your layers. (Left click on your eye layer and choose View/View All.)

NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO SAVE YOUR IMAGE (CTRL +S)

Add a new layer named "mouth". Using your draw tool (same settings) draw a mouth for your Angel:

Add a new layer named "cheeks".  Change your foreground color to: #F799B8.  Click on your Airbrush tool and spray some color on your Angel's cheeks, using the following settings:

Apply a Guassian blur of 10.

NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO SAVE YOUR IMAGE (CTRL +S)
