| Creating our animation:
1. Click on the Animation Wizard icon
to start the Animation Wizard:
- Same size as the first image
- Transparent
- Upper left corner of the frame
- With the canvas color
- Yes, play the animation indefinitely
- Any number - we'll be changing it
later
- Add image and find your "rose.psp"
file, click open
- Finish
When you click on "Finish" your
animation will appear with each frame (layer) displayed:

You will have a total of 11 frames in all -
one frame for each layer of your original image.
The properties for each frame are shown
below the frame:
F:1 indicates that this is Frame 1
D:10 indicates the length of time this frame will be displayed (in 1/100th of
as second)
The active frame is highlighted. In the
screenshot above, Frame 1 is the active frame.
We want to change the display time for each
frame. Right click on each frame and choose Frame Properties to open the
Frame Properties box:

Change the display time for your frames as
follows:

Once you have all your display times
changed, click on the View Animation icon
to view your animation.
If you're happy with your animation, save
your file (File/Save As.. or F12):
1. Browse to the folder on your hard
drive where you wish to save your file.
2. Chose a name for your animation
and the Save as type box should default to CompuServe Graphics
Interchange (*.gif).
3. Click Save.
4. I always move my slider to the
top (Better Image Quality) though you may choose to adjust your slider
for a smaller file size.
5. Click Next three times.
6. Click Finish.
Congratulations - you have just
created an animated blooming rose!
