MAKING YOUR GUESTBOOK GRAPHIC:
1. Open a new image 250x125, transparent
background, 16 million colors.
2. Flood fill with your background
graphic.
3. Change your
background color to null
and your foreground color to the dark color you chose for your
set.
4. Click on your preset shapes tool and
choose Rounded Rectangle. Antialias and Vector checked; Line
width 5.
5. Starting at coordinates 15, 15, drag
your rectangle out to coordinates 235, 110. You should end up
with this:

6. Make Layer2
active and convert to raster. Layers/Convert to Raster.
7. If you applied an inner
bevel previously, apply it now.
8. Add a drop shadow with the
following settings:
Horizontal and Vertical: 1; Opacity: 60; Blur: 5.
9. Add a new raster layer.
Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "guestbook".
10. Click on your text tool
and type the word "Guestbook". (I used the same font,
size 36. Position your text in the center of your graphic.
11. Add a new raster later.
Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "view".
12. Click on your text tool
and type the word "View". (I used the same font, size
28. Position your text in the upper left corner.
13. Add a new raster later.
Layers/New Raster Layer and name it "sign".
14. Click on your text tool
and type the word "Sign". (I used the same font, size
28. Position your text in the lower right corner.
Here's what I ended up with:

15. If you find (like I did)
that your text overlaps, you can use your mover tool to reposition
the words. (Another good reason for adding everything on a
separate layer.) I now have this:

16. By now you should be a
pro at adding your graphics/tubes. Add new layers and
position your graphics where you'd like them. I lowered the
opacity for my graphic layers to 75 on this graphic. Here's
what I now have:

17. Once you're happy with
your graphic, merge all layers. Layers/Merge All.
18. If you have only one link
for your guestbook save your graphic as "guestbook.jpg".
19. If you have separate
links for your guestbook, one for signing and one for viewing,
you'll need to take the following steps.
20. Double click on your
selection tool and enter the following:
Left: 0, Right: 125, Top: 0, Bottom: 125
21. Click on Edit/Copy.
22. Click on Edit/Paste/As
New Image.
23. Save this new graphic as
"view.jpg".
24. Make your full graphic
active and invert your selection. Selections/Invert.
25. Click on Edit/Copy.
26. Click on Edit/Paste/As
New Image.
27. Save this new graphic as
"sign.jpg".
