To associate a new extension with Paint Shop Pro files, go to File/Preferences/File Format Associations.

Scroll down and highlight Paint Shop Pro Image, then click on Extensions:

In the following box, click on Add:

In the following box, type in pfr and click on OK:

You will now be able to create and save your own Picture Frames for use in Paint Shop Pro.
